I remember you..

Man... It's been a long time. A long time that me and my hubby have been together.

He is a big music person. He loves to play the oldies. We were just sitting and talking and he was working on his computer and then, he played "I Remember You" by Brian Mcknight. OMG, I just completely lost it. I don't know where it came from but heart just got so full and I just sobbed big fat tears. I just took me back to when we were dating 10 years ago. In the early days of just getting to know each other. And then I went on to think about ALL we have been through. SO VERY MUCH! He is truly my best friend. We have had so many ups and downs and good times. We have come so far from totally broke college kids... to just starting out... and to finding our way in life as a couple and individuals. Boy the years go by fast... I can't believe it's been that long. He has been such a big part of my life. Back then in 95-96, I could have never imagined where my life would take me. But I am so glad that he is part of it. It's just funny how the littlest thing can just jolt a million memories. It's the same way when he wears Fahrenheit cologne or Hugo Boss. That fragrance just brings me back. But nothing does it like an early Brian McKnight song. The funny thing I was both sad and happy. Sad because those days are so long gone... and happy because of how far we have come, and that we are still in love "after all these years"... I am such a sap for my baby. He's not perfect but I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world!
