How do you find the time?

I'm not posting to my blog as often as I would like these days. It seems I never have the time anymore to do anything!! I read blogs where I see women who are SAHMs and/or Working Moms and they scrap and do this and that... I don't see how I could ever scrapbook these days! I spend my whole day trying to stay caught up.... with the kids, housework, dishes, laundry, the dog. I squeeze in time for a few DVRed shows, playing on Facebook, and that's about it. When I get them both down for nap time, I need a nap myself! I wish I knew how to get my own creative time squeezed in some where... I am greatful that my hubby gives me a real day off every week. But I usually spend that day playing catch up or away from the house. It's hard for me to close myself up in a room and scrapbook when my hubby and kids are home too... sooooo how do you find the time?

Anyway... here are a few pics of my two. I can't believe my little boy is going to be 2 next month!!! And my little princess is 4 months old next week! WOW... time files... I guess we must be having fun. ;-)

 

 

 

 

I'm gonna be a big brother soon...

Just a little less than 2 weeks away from being a big brother! Junior is all smiles here... but little does he know that his whole world (and mine) is about to change very soon. I have tried to "prepare" him as much as you can do for a 17 month old. So hopefully he will love his little sitter from the start and not have any jealousy issues.

I have been having a rough day today. I want to "nest" so bad but feel I can't get everything I want to do done. I know my baby won't come to her new home inspecting the cleaniness or neatness of things. And she won't mind if everything in her room is not perfect. But I know... I'm just frustrated because I can't get down and do the serious cleaning I want to do and organizing I want to do. Time has just run away from me. The days are going wayyyyy to fast it seems.

This is my morning...

It's not even 10:30 yet and Jr. has made a mess of his little self! We had our normal breakfast of oatmeal and fruit. Except this morning he tried to feed him self a little bit. With much success!

It's just about naptime (for me and him)... and I think we are both already worn out...

Rice Cereal for the first time!

Okay... I know this used to be a scrap blog... but it's slowing turning into a baby blog... LOL... sorry... I promise to do some more pages very soon... :-)

Junior got his first taste of rice cereal with a spoon today! He absolutely loved it. He just acted like he had always been eating from a spoon. He did so good. And boy o boy he enjoyed it!!! It was so much fun watching his expressions as he was eating. It was too cute. Hubby and I had a wonderful time enjoying this little milestone in our son's life!

Tummy Time

A day out with Mommy

Today Junior and I took some time to run some errand and do a little shopping for mommy. We hit up Hobby Lobby and I scored a new OTT Lite (with a 40% off coupon) and a cartridge for my Cricut, Opposites Attract, at HL for only $59.00! Oh and lunch was provided by Chick-Fila and Enfamil. It's about time I did a little shopping for me. If HL had baby clothes I know I would have bought some.

Custom Onesies for Junior!

I had a pack of plain white onesies for Junior and personalized them this afternoon! I think they turned out cute. Just for him to sleep in or whatever... So that's my creativity for the day! :-)

6 Week Photoshoot

Here are some pics of Junior. He is now 6 weeks old! Boy time flys by. I catch myself getting caught up in my daily chores and just busy caring for him that I sometimes forget to take more pictures. So this morning we had a little photo shoot to comemorate him being 6 weeks and a day today!

I love this store...

OMG! I must say I am in love with this store, Once Upon a Child. They have the cutest new and used baby and kid clothes. I can see I will be spending lots of money here. I spent $35 bucks and got SEVEN, that's right SEVEN outfits for "Junior"!! I am not a "2nd-hand snob" at all, I figure the little guy will only be wearing some of this stuff for a few months a best, so I should get the best deals I can on clothes.

Earlier this weekend I went to Gymboree and looked around with my hubby. This was his first time in a baby clothing store. He was shocked at how much baby stuff costs too. I mean come'on 20 bucks for a 3mo sweater!!! Now don't get me wrong I will hunt around Old Navy and Baby Gap for a deal too. But the stuff at Once Upon a Child just can't be beat. Gently used name brand clothes on the cheap... I love it! They also have many other used baby items... carriers, strollers, toys etc.

It's really too bad that I work very close to this store... I can see many a lunch break being spent shopping for "Junior".

We have an assembled crib...

YEAH!! What a nice way to celebrate Christmas... the hubby wanted to put the crib together yesterday. I know it's a little early but we had the time to do it, so we did. It was fun. It's so nice to see it all assembled together.

Muffin, was quite curious as the work was being done. She wonders what this is all about.

Baby's First Gift

When I got home from work today I got a surprise pacakge from my parents. A supercute gift bag of football related baby items! Hubby was so excited to see Atlanta Falcons baby gear and the little toy football stuff. Surprises like this are the best!

Oh, Tangee, I got a nice treat in the mail from you too! Thanks so much!! You are so sweet and awesome!!! I have really been enjoying the music on my ride to work in the mornings.
