right now...

Right now my husband is painting his "Man Room". That makes me nervous. We converted our dinning room into a study/man room for him. We don't have guests over much and we have an eat-in breakfast room so we decided to fix the dinning room up for him. A couple of weekends ago we got him some awesome office furniture from the Storehouse Outlet. We decided that blue would be the color of the room. Last week he came home with this lite-bright blue color. I was like ummm... no! Then he chose a darker blue, still not that happy with it but it's not terrible. He went out and got a little flat screen tv for his room too! He played Playstation on it last night. He thought this was the greatest thing! This room has no doors, mind you... he's thinking of getting french doors put on too! he just may do it. I didn't think we would ever be able to agree on office furniture. So we have come a long way in the last few weeks.

I have to admit that I am a little jealous of his room. But the good thing is my scraproom is right around the corner and it's just MY SPACE... I have to keep myself from totally interjecting and telling him what I think he should do. It is afterall HIS SPACE. I do think it's important for men to have a place of their own in the house... well at least my man needs it.

The real idea for this room being in the dining room was that we could free up the bedroom he was using as an office... so that we could make more room for a nursery... :-))) No we aren't preggo yet. But one day soon... hopefully in the next year or so.

Well I sooo look forward to going home today after work and seeing what the man has done to my walls. I will take pics and post when it's all done and decorated the way "I" like it. LOL...
