I swear...

I, Trina, being of sound mind and body do solemly swear that I will NOT spend more than $30.00 USD on scrapbooking products until after CKU Houston. If I do spend more than the said amount, the consquence is that I will not get to stay in the host hotel and will be forced to drive home every night after being at CKU all day.

I am doing this to myself because I know how I am. $345 is a big hunk of change to drop on a scrap retreat, not to mention my hotel costs to stay 20mins away from my own house. I do feel that I deserve this treat to myself. And I know when we do have kids, that this kind of thing won't happen often. But I dont't think that I should be greedy and wasteful and continue to spend. I will do my best to refrain from spending more. So that I can look foward more to going to CKU and all the new stuff that we should start seeing in the stores later this summer after Summer CHA.

I am so lucky that Cathy was able to register me while I was in Canada last week! Or else I would be SOL! Thanks girlie! "We" will be there together...

I, Cathy, being of sound mind and body do solemly swear to not tempt Trina or discuss any of the new CHA products or surf the web and tell her of all the new stuff out. I will refrain from sharing with her any new stuff that I will buy. I can not promise that I will spend less than $30 bucks. :-)

LOL....that is too funny! It never works for me, so I hope it works for you. We all deserve to be spoiled, even more when you have kids. So ENJOY, girly!!! Make sure you share the experience for those of us "unlucky ones"!

Oh this is a great pledge. I hope you stick with it. Conventions are always more fun when you stay at the "chosen" hotel. Don't browse websites and stay away from the LSS. It also might be helpful not to open any magazines :-)
