Painting went really well. My hubby and I worked hard and knocked it out in a couple of hours. We prep-ed the room really good so we didn't have much clean up work. This wasn't our first time painting but it was our first time painting something other than a bedroom. We were really happy with the results. It's such a pain to do but its rewarding to see the finished product! Now our living room looks much warmer and inviting.

Yeah, it does look nice and warm. I love neutral colors when it comes to decorating. And, WOW, a couple of hours, no way. That is awesome.

Your living room looks AWESOME! It definitely looks cozy and inviting. I LOVE red in living rooms; I have touches of it in mine (red, white, and gold) and it just makes it a happy room!!
isn't it amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do for a house?? I"m ready to paint too! Now you've given my bug. I'll tell DH to blame you. heh heh.

Girl I think we have the same house. Your LR is laid out EXACTLY like mine! DO you have vaulted ceilings? how did you paint up so high?
