Lequita Shonta Tucker 1984-2005

Lequita Shonta Tucker, 21, of Memphis, TN, passed away September 22, 2005 at Mark Lawn Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TN. Formerly of Memphis, she was a graduate of Central School 2001 class. She was presently a student at Collin College in Greenville, TX. She was a member of Gray's Creek Baptist Church in Eads, TN. She leaves her mother, Lilita Renee Harris Tucker of Memphis; her father, Jerry Tucker of Arlington, VA; one brother, Eric Anderson of Memphis; her grandmother, Bobbie Jean Tucker of Memphis; two step-grandmothers, Warden Harris, and Jency Atkins both of Memphis; 2 grandfathers, Reverend Wiley Harris and Levester Atkin both of Memphis; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends; a close companion, David Jones of Greenville, TX; one step-sister, Rebekah McLean of Memphis; and a dear cousin, Ariel Harris. Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Friday, September, 30, 2005, at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home. Services Saturday, October 1, at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church on Vance. Quita was my Cousin on my mother's side. 2nd Cousin. She was a sweet person. She had the cutest little laugh that she did so often. That's what I will remember most about her. She was so young and it's so sad for her Dad to be going through this.
